How often have you found yourself staring into space for no apparent reason? If you have, then you’re already halfway to great vision. Now all you need to do is focus all that attention on a single point. There are two types of focused gazing meditation techniques that are known to enhance vision and help treat eye discomfort.
1 Gazing at a flame
Place a lit candle about three feet away at eye level, and sit comfortably across it in a dark room.
Take a deep breath and stare at the tip of the candle wick without blinking, for as long as you can.
Close your eyes and picture the image of the flame in your mind until you can no longer visualize it.
Open your eyes and repeat for 20 minutes.
Readjust your eyes to normal light slowly.

2 Gazing at a distant object
Place an object about three feet away at eye level, and sit comfortably across it.
Take a deep breath and stare at the object without blinking until you tear up.
Close your eyes and picture the image of the object in your mind until you can no longer visualize it.
Open your eyes and repeat for 20 minutes.
3 Soak In The Sun
The warm sunlight on your eyes can be incredibly soothing and revitalizing. It’s also one of the easiest ways to improve your eyesight. All you have to do is close your eyes and let the sunshine do all the work!
– Take off your glasses or contact lenses with UV protection
– Close your eyes and face the sunlight
– Gently move your eyes from side to side
P.S.: This is best done early in the morning. The vitamin D will work wonders!

4 Come To The Dark Side
We don’t mean you should go all Darth Vader on your eyes, but a little darkness can go a long way in helping you keep your eyes healthy for years to come. Visualizing perfect blackness helps give your eyes the much-needed break it needs from all the light it is constantly exposed to. You can use an eye mask or cover your eyes with your palms to completely shut out the light.
– Sit in a dark room and cover your eyes
– Take a deep breath and visualize blackness
– Relax and ignore all “light” distractions
– Readjust your eyes to normal light slowly
